She&#8217;s slowly getting used to the house and my other cat, Jack. Currently she isn&#8217;t sure about him and hisses if he bounds too close. For his part, he&#8217;s ready to worship her!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/test.adamantyr.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/20181220_104946-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1002\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.adamantyr.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/20181220_104946-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/www.adamantyr.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/20181220_104946-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/www.adamantyr.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/20181220_104946.jpg 1512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>CRPG work has been ongoing and making steady progress. I&#8217;m presently working through every single spell in the game to test code and ensure everything works! I&#8217;m a little over halfway through now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve made several small refinements to the game as I&#8217;ve gone along. For example, if you target an enemy one round, on the next round it remembers which one you targeted and defaults to them. I also fixed animation so that all animation occurs when you move. This helps stop the &#8220;water doesn&#8217;t move when I do&#8221; effect which was a little weird. Several spells were tweaked, as was how damage is calculated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But enough talk, time for another video! In this one, you can see the &#8220;Guardian&#8221; spell at work, which summons a spiritual ally. Three different random types (bear, wolf, and eagle) are available. There is also another spell which allows you to summon a demon&#8230; although their degree of control the summoner has is far less.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7ep4vaet5po?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hopefully before the end of the year I will have finished enough to start some closed beta testing with others!<br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve finally reached my end of year vacation time, hurrah!
